Summary

 

We are seeking a candidate for our client headquartered in Palo Alto, a pioneer developing the industry's first disruptive AI-native auto-mutuality platform that integrates computational imaging and system-level design methodologies.

Job Description

l   Assess current company policies, procedures, practices and documents to identify possible legal or ethical weaknesses, including website and online information

l   Enforcement of key policy provisions and monitoring of field for Compliance violations, including identifying breaches, communicate with affiliate the breaches and adopt disciplinary actions

l   Educate the field the company partnership agreement and policies

l   Development of key processes for Compliance procedures including involvement of other key departments such as R&D, customer support

l   Assist in development of all marketing material including reviews of collateral material and social media posts

l   Removal of unapproved videos pertaining to the company or its products on platforms such as YouTube

l   Removal of Social Media accounts that contain the company protected name(s) or terms not allowed

l   Assistance with removal of unauthorized sales of company services on sites such as facebook, YouTube

l   Monitor the implementation of Company’s data protection policies and design compliance procedures

l   Assist in monitoring and interpreting U.S. and international data protection laws (e.g., CCPA, CPRA, HIPAA, GDPR)

l   Collaborated with IT and security teams to strengthen data protection and cybersecurity measures

l   Responded to data breaches and security incidents, ensuring compliance with regulatory reporting requirements

l   Assist in internal audits and regulatory filings

l   Collaborate with legal in dispute resolution

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Bachelor degree, Compliance, Information Security, Art and Science or related field
  • Experience:3-4 years in compliance or legal.
  • Knowledge: Basic understanding of U.S. privacy laws (CCPA, HIPAA), GDPR and president executive orders concerning data protection
  • Certifications (Preferred): IAPP CIPP/US, CIPM, or willingness to obtain
  • Soft Skills: Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to communicate complex requirements clearly
  • Culture inclusive and be able to work with people from different culture
