Overview:
The Tax Manager is responsible for ensuring that the business complies with various domestic and international tax laws and regulations. To deal with all matters relating to taxation. Responsible for filing, forecasting, analysis, planning and research, and oversee audits.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for tax filing of Huawei
- Responsible for tax compliance, risk management, and tax audit.
- Responsible for comprehensive tax solutions for CIT and WHT, including tax determination, filing, asset management; Develop local tax processes.
- Gain insight into the local tax environment, research policies, interpret and adapt rules (including embed into IT system), and communicate with tax authorities.
- Responsible for tax planning for all taxes (Identify, research, and obtain ruling opportunities; apply for tax incentives).
- Provide tax review comments for sales contracts, procurement contracts, special projects, etc., and control risks.
- Manage the compliance of intercompany transactions, including but not limited to preparation and filing of TPD and CbCR.
Competency requirements:
- Familiar with Singapore tax laws, cases and procedure, including but not limited to Corporate Income Tax, Withholding Tax, etc.
- Good experience for trading business, Cloud or e-commerce transactions.
- Familiar with the latest developments in international tax system, including BEPS Action Plans.
- Familiar with accounting schemes, including IFRS International Accounting Standards.
- Have strong communication,coordination and teamwork skills.
- English as the working language, fluent in listening, speaking, reading and writing.
- Must be able to communicate proficiently in English and Mandarin (Need to liaise with mandarin speaking counterparts).
- Experience: 3 years or above tax experience. Large multinational enterprises or Big 4 experience is preferred.
- Education: Bachelor or master of Finance, Economics, Tax or any equivalent.
- Certification & Qualifications: ACCA are preferred.
