Job Description
Reviewing products, features, platforms, and initiatives to provide and coordinate legal advice
across complex and multifaceted legal issues such as payments, e-commerce, virtual cards,
card acquiring, AML, data security, data privacy, consumer protection and other legal
frameworks applicable to company products.
• Providing commercial support to company’s business development and sales teams covering
the Indonesia, Malaysia and elsewhere as required;
• Supporting the Indonesia and Malaysia regulatory, compliance and risk functions
with practical and effective advice concerning applicable payment services regulations; and
• Assisting on other internal matters as necessary or advisable, including inter-company
arrangements, HR/labor matters and corporate governance.
Qualifications & Skills
Juris Doctorate (J.D.), LLM, or equivalent degree.
• Fluency in English and Bahasa, proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
• At least 7 years of experience practicing either in-house or at a law firm, preferably with
experience in payments or financial services.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to deliver risk-adjusted practical advice to
stakeholders across the business.
• Outstanding interpersonal, written and oral communication, and negotiation skills.
• Comfort in and flexibility with working in ambiguity as the business grows.
