Global Director of Apparel Quality Systems (Indonesia)
Job Description
1、Global quality system construction and landing
Based on Uniqlo's quality system standards, build a full chain quality management system covering fabrics - production - finished products, and promote 100% landing in China and Indonesia production bases;
leads the development of the Global Quality Control Manual, which translates customer requirements into executable internal technical documents to ensure uniform standards across bases;
Organize cross-base quality audits every quarter, output the Quality Maturity Assessment Report, and promote the closed-loop rate of rectification of high-risk items ≥95%.
2、Indonesia base quality capability improvement
designs a tiered training system for the pain points of Indonesian factories to achieve an effective increase in the passing rate of one-time inspection;
establish a competency model for the Indonesian quality team, train local backbones through the “master-apprentice system”, and localize core positions.
3、Customer collaboration and risk control
Lead customer factory inspection (QMS system audit, FLA social responsibility audit) to ensure zero serious non-conformities;
Predict quality trends and upgrade testing capabilities in advance.
4、Data analysis and continuous improvement
Build a global quality big data platform, monitor key indicators, drive special improvement of TOP3 issues, and promote annual quality cost reduction.
Qualifications & Skills
Core Competencies (Qualification)
Professional Skills:
- Over 5 years of experience in quality management for UNIQLO's OEM factories, with a deep understanding of its quality system's underlying logic.
- Skilled in identifying system gaps by reversing problems from the front line and designing preventive measures.
Cross-Cultural Leadership:
- Ability to work in a trilingual environment (Chinese, Japanese, and English).
- Strong execution ability, with a "strong-arm" approach to holding non-compliant factories accountable.
Organizational Development Ability:
- Experience in building a quality team of over 50 people from scratch, designing SOPs and assessment mechanisms for QC/QA positions.
Personal Traits:
- Principled: Maintains a firm stance on quality standards, even when facing pressure from production departments (e.g., reducing inspection ratios to meet deadlines).
- Professional Authority: Capable of quickly transforming abstract customer requirements into measurable testing standards.
