Job Description

As an expert in the technical operations of cloud operating systems, you will deliver advanced service support for Alibaba Cloud products, specializing in the swift resolution of complex escalated issues. 1. Provide expert customer support within the cloud product technology's operating systems domain, rapidly diagnosing and resolving difficult escalated problems. 2. Collaborate with the R&D team to facilitate bug fixes and optimize architectural solutions in cloud products in response to customer feedback, and advance the development and deployment of diagnostic tools for both backend and user-end. 3. Produce and maintain official technical documentation and solutions to guide customers in the effective utilization of cloud products.

Position Requirement

1. Bachelor (or above) degree or higher in computer science, communications, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years in DevOps, operations, or development within traditional or internet-based business systems. 2. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Mandarin and English as the role will need to work with the development team who's more comfortable speaking Mandarin. 3. Expertise in operating systems or virtualization, with hands-on development, operations, or support experience in Linux or virtualization technologies. 4. Proficiency in system calls related to processes, filesystems, and networks, able to analyze program behavior with tools like strace/gdb, or capable of source code analysis. 5. A strong understanding of the Linux network stack, kernel network parameters, and virtual network devices; familiarity with Linux storage and filesystems to identify factors affecting application I/O performance. 6. Knowledge of Linux concepts such as namespaces, cgroups, upstart, systemd, and familiarity with RPM and deb software packages. 7. Experience with DevOps methodologies; preference given to those with operational experience in large-scale Linux clusters. 8. Exceptional analytical and rapid problem-solving skills, along with adept technical documentation abilities. Must be eager to learn new technologies, demonstrate outstanding communication skills, possess experience in teamwork, a strong sense of professionalism, and a consistent commitment to prioritizing customer needs. This role is pivotal in ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction with Alibaba Cloud products.
